A & J Family Farms is owned by Al and Jane Smoake and has been making mesquite bean and prickly pear cactus jams, jellies, and syrups since 1976.The flavors include chile, quince, mint, and pyracantha. They harvest their ingredients from natural sources or local gardens, do not add artificial coloring, flavoring, or preservatives, and the products are made in a certified kitchen.All the flavor of the prickly pear fruit, but without the spines!
