A meal in a box? It couldn’t be simpler and the results are delicious! The Carne Adovada Dinner that comes with Sopaipilla Mix has all the ingredients except the meat and water. Traditional recipes use pork steaks instead of cubed pork or add chicken. Use any of the leftover sauce, after it is cooked, as an addition to mashed potatoes or pour it over eggs as it has terrific flavor.
Los Chileros has put together all the fixings for an authentic Carne Adovada (just add 1½ lbs of pork, beef, or chicken) plus our mix for fluffy sopaipillas (just add water).
Carne Adovada Ingredients: Chile caribe, chile molido, garlic, onion, chile pequin, salt and oregano. Sopaipilla Mix: Flour, baking powder, soybean oil and salt. Another full-flavored classic New Mexico dish. The Dinner Kit includes sopaipilla mix. Fill the sopaipillas with honey for dessert and you've got a meal that will draw raves. Just add 1 1/2 pounds of chicken, beef, or pork. Makes 6 servings. No additives or preservatives.

Delicious and Easy!
This blend of spices added so much flavor to our pork loin. We opted for the "CrockPot" version and left it on low for 7 hours. The suggestion to use the leftover sauce on other things is a must! So yummy. We did not use the Sopaipilla Mix. I'm planning on experimenting with it this afternoon. I would like to see the spices in a box of their own (since we aren't using the mix). But we liked it so much, I've ordered another box.
