Red Chile Chili

1 tablespoon olive oil
1.5 lbs. coarse ground beef
1 large yellow onion, diced
2 jalapeno peppers, minced
4 cloves garlic chopped
1 Tbsp. Los Chileros Chipotle Chile Powder
2 Tbsp. Hatch Red Chile Powder
1 Tbsp. salt
Black pepper to taste
1 tsp. cumin
2 cans red kidney beans
28 ounce fire roasted tomatoes
16 oz. Hatch Chile Verde
14 ounce tomato sauce

Heat the oil in a large pot and add the ground beef, onion and jalapenos.
Cook 5-6 minutes to brown the meat and soften the vegetables.
Add the garlic and seasonings and cook another minute, stirring to combine.
Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
Cover and cook the chili on low for at least 1 hour to let the flavors develop, stirring every now and then. Adjust for seasonings as needed.
