Maple Hatch & Mustard Glazed Green Beans
Ingredients:
12 oz. fresh green beans, ends trimmed
2 Tbsp. butter
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 large shallot, minced
salt and pepper to taste
maple mustard sauce:
1 Tbsp. Fresh Chile Co Hatch Dijon Mustard
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
Directions:
Combine mustard, maple syrup and mayonnaise in a bowl. Mix and set aside.
Blanch the green beans in salted boiling water for 2 minutes.
Remove and immerse in a bowl of ice water.
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add garlic and shallots.
As the shallots caramelize, add the green beans. Saute 2 minutes over medium heat.
Add the maple mustard sauce and toss to coat the green beans.
Cook 1 more minute, remove to a plate and serve.
