We consider plants our herbal allies and look back to times when they were revered for their healing properties. Combining cherished local herbs and healing traditions, Desert Mountain Tea is intended to create an aromatic, flavorful, nourishing and calming ritual for your body and spirit.

Santa Fe, Pecos River, Tesuque, are precious lands steeped in history, serving as the colorful inspiration for each blend. Piñon, Juniper, Desert Sage, Lavender and Cota are regional herbs—respectfully wildcrafted or cultivated locally. All accompanying herbs and tea are certified organic and free trade. Teas are created in small batches, hand-packed from Santa Fe, NM and come in compostable pouches. Tea makes a very thoughtful gift to yourself or those you enjoy tea with.

New Mexico's precious lands that are steeped in history, serve as the colorful inspiration for each sophisticated Tea blend.
Regional herbs used are Piñon, Juniper, Desert Sage, Lavender and Cota —respectfully wildcrafted or cultivated locally.
All accompanying herbs and tea are certified organic and free trade.
We have 7 teas for you to choose from:
Pecos River Tea, Santa Fe Piñon Black Tea, Santa Fe Piñon Herbal Tea, Tesuque Morning Tea, Chimayo Chile Citrus Tea, Madrid Magic Tea, and Santa Fe Sunset.
Chimayo Chile Citrus Tea ingredients: Chimayo red chile, locally grown Cota, organic lemon and orange, organic honey-bush. Mild heat level.
Madrid Magic Tea ingredients: Local Turquoise Trail Lavender Farm lavender, organic mint, organic ginger, organic blue vervain, organic butterfly pea flower. After steeping, this tea is a beautiful blue color- add a squeeze of lemon and it becomes a brilliant purple.
Pecos River Tea ingredients: Locally grown Cota, organic juniper berries, organic rosehips, organic honey-bush.
Santa Fe Piñon Black Tea ingredients: Wildcrafted piñon, organic Assam black tea, organic lemongrass.
Santa Fe Piñon Herbal Tea ingredients: Wildcrafted piñon, locally grown Cota, organic honey-bush, organic lemongrass.
Tesuque Morning Tea ingredients: Locally grown desert sage, organic breakfast tea, organic elderberry, organic lemongrass.

Madrid Magic Tea is amazing!

"I had this tea in a restaurant in Santa Fe. When I got back to Ohio, I wanted more of that tea, and found it for sale on Made in New Mexico. It is fantastic! I do not like mint, and this tea has mint in it, but the other flavors in the blend tame it down and it is a nice minty aftertaste, not overpowering. The Pea Flower makes the tea a nice blue color once you add some citrus (I added a bit of lemon). I served this tea at dinner Saturday to rave reviews. It is delicious, and I highly recommend it!"
