12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
10-12 slices of ham
10-12 slices Swiss cheese
for the glaze:
1 stick unsalted butter
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Fresh Chile Co Sweet and Spicy Mustard
1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
pinch of black pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter along with remaining glaze ingredients.
Slice the rolls in half.
Add about a tablespoon of the butter mixture to a 9x13 baking dish.
Place the bottom side of the rolls on the buttered baking dish.
Layer the rolls with ham and cheese and place the roll tops over the ham and cheese.
Reserve a tablespoon of the butter mixture and brush the remaining butter mixture over the rolls.
Cover with foil and allow to sit 5-10 minutes to allow the buttery mixture to soak into the rolls.
Bake 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Brush with reserved butter, slice and serve warm.
