Easy Focaccia with Herbs de Provence

Herbs de Provence added to this simple focaccia dough gives the bread a rich savory flavor

1 1/4 cup warm water
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. instant dry yeast
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 tsp. Frolicking Deer Herbs de Provence
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 tsp. Frolicking Deer Herbs de Provence, 1 tsp. minced garlic, 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan

Pour warm water in bowl of mixer. Add sugar and stir until dissolved
Add yeast and stir, let sit for 5 minutes until foamy
Add 1 cup of flour, add the hook attachment and mix until smooth on medium speed
Add another cup of flour mix on 2-3 minutes until smooth
Add olive oil, salt and herbs de Provence and mix until combined
Add 1/2 cup of flour and continue to mix until a ball forms
Place dough on a lightly floured surface, shape into a ball
Lightly oil a 13x9 baking pan. Add dough and gently spread to cover the pan
Drizzle additional olive oil over the top of the dough.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, place dough on the stove to rise while the oven comes to temp
Bake 20 minutes, brush with melted butter, garlic, herbs de Provence and parmesan
Allow to cool and slice
