Green Chile Chicken Alfredo

1 lbs. chicken breast, sliced into strips
1/2 cup butter
1 onion, diced
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 (14.5oz) can chicken broth
1/2 cup flour
1 pint half and half
1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
12 oz. linguine, cooked
1 cup Santa Fe Ole Roasted Hatch Green Chile
salt and pepper to taste

Heat a sauté pan on medium heat and melt 2 Tbsp. butter
Add chicken breast and sauté until cooked through, 5-10 minutes
Remove chicken from pan and set aside, add remaining butter to pan
Add flour, salt and pepper, cook 2-3 minutes
Add chicken broth and half and half, use a whisk to stir and bring to a boil
Add chicken, mushrooms, parmesan and green chile
Cook and additional 3-5 minutes
Serve over linguine and sprinkle with additional parmesan
