Desert Gardens Green Chile Stew is the essence of the Southwest - thick with only the best of New Mexico's green chiles, select potatoes, garden vegetables and their signature Desert Gardens spices - just add water, simmer and serve! MEDIUM HEAT LEVEL.
Cooking Directions: Add contents to 6 cups (48 oz) of cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 35 minutes. Optional - add a small can of chicken with juice or the cooked meat of your choice while stew is simmering. Serving Suggestion: Add chicken, pork, or beef. Top off with cheddar cheese. Serve with Green Chile Corn Bread.

The Green Chile Soup Base is blended with plenty of Hatch Green Chile.
Green Chile Chicken Soup Base recipe: This one comes blended with plenty of Hatch, New Mexico Green Chile right in the mix. Also comes with a recipe for our Famous Green Chile Chicken Soup. Or you can come up with your own recipe. Green Chile Chicken Soup: 1/2 cup Green Chile Chicken Soup Base, 1 lb. cooked chicken meat, 3 cups diced canned tomatoes, 6-8 chopped red potatoes with skins, 1 quart chicken broth 1 quart water. Bring all ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
Ingredients: Chicken Soup Base, Dehydrated Green Chile, Onion and Garlic. 9.6 ounces.

Los Chileros Organic Blue Corn Posole

Posole – or hominy – is made by removing the outer layer of corn kernels and then drying them. The posole is then soaked and cooked (traditionally with cubed pork) until tender and the kernels have “bloomed”. Cook with beef, pork or chicken for a traditional Southwestern meal. The bag is 12 ounces.
Family Recipe: Soak posole overnight in water with 1 Tbs of salt added. Rinse & place in sauce pan with 1 Tbs sea salt. Boil for 2 hours. Add i pound of cubed pork or beef, 1 tsp fresh minced garlic, 1/2 tsp SF Seasons Six Seasonings (or oregano), 1/2 cup SF Seasons Red Chile Sauce (or 1 Tbs red chile powder). Cover & cook for 1 more hour. Must be cooked to 165 degrees before consuming.
