B's New Mexico Pure Natural Honey is another wonderful local New Mexico product. Did you know that It takes 2 millions flowers to provide 1 pound of honey. It takes one ounce of honey to fuel a bee’s flight around the world. Children under 12 months should not ingest honey. Honey never spoils. Bees are the only insect that produces food eaten by man. The average honey bee will actually make only one twelfth of a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime. Honey can help you lose weight. Honey differs in color and flavor depending on what blossoms the honey bees visit. Colors and flavors range from nearly colorless to dark amber brown and deliciously mild to richly bold. As a general rule, light-colored honey is milder in taste and dark-colored honey is stronger.

There are many Health Benefits from honey. Honey is a natural antiseptic (substance inhibiting the growth and reproduction of microorganisms) as well as antioxidant (substance in food that helps to protect cells against damage from free radicals). Honey has a healthy Glycemic Index, meaning that sugars are gradually absorbed into the bloodstream at a healthy and reasonable rate. Honey has been used for thousands of years as a natural remedy to numerous ailments. Honey is a product that can be used internally as well as externally to heal tissue damage, decrease inflammation, and heal scarring. Honey is also a wonderful conditioner for soft, smooth skin and hair.

Allergies are caused by a continuous overexposure to allergens. Over 36 million Americans suffer from seasonal allergies with symptoms of headaches, runny nose, and itchy eyes. Over the counter medications can sometimes provide relief from these symptoms, but with the price of side effects such as drowsiness and dryness. One of the easiest and most effect ways to reduce your allergy symptoms is to regularly ingest raw honey that is local to your area. This is called By ingesting honey, which contains pollen from your community, your body creates an immune system response which produces antibodies designated to fight off the foreign invaders. Introducing local pollen into your body in small amounts by eating raw B's Honey should make your body accustomed to their presence and decrease the chance an immune system response, like the release of histamine (causing allergy symptoms), will occur.

When should I throw out my old honey? Never! Honey never spoils or goes bad. Store honey at room temperature. Refrigerating honey will cause crystallization. You may think that when your honey starts to 'crystalize' that it can no longer be used, but that is incorrect. Place your bottle into a bowl of warm water for a few hours and your honey will be as good as new. Never throw out honey, with so many uses it would be such a waste of money.

Delicious

"I’ve used half of it already! Very good honey. Will order again."

Nicola G. (5/5)

"We had this honey in Sante Fe at Tomasitas while on vacation. Neither myself nor my husband even like honey, but we tasted this on our sopapillas and loved it! We ordered 3 bottles shipped to our home out of state. While the honey is delicious, all 3 bottles arrived with broken lids and a sticky mess in the bag they were shipped in. That said, this honey has a unique flavor I have never experienced from any other honey and it is delicious!!"

Over Priced On Website

"If you live in New Mexico, buy this honey in the grocery store. This website is charging $22 for 32oz + $8 for shipping. At the grocery store it’s only $14. Over double the price."

"Love this so yummy. Can’t wait to order more."
