BEST ONLINE TURKEY AND GREEN CHILE TACOS RECIPE
1 lb. ground turkey
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1/2 cup Santa Fe Ole Hatch Green Chile
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. cumin
1 Tbsp. lime juice
salt and pepper to taste
8 corn tortillas
Avocado Crema:
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1 small ripe avocado
1/2 cup sour cream
pinch of chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium high heat
Add onion, and ground turkey and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic.
Add spices and green chile and sauté 10 more minutes until turkey is cooked through
Add lime juice and season with salt and pepper to taste
While the turkey is cooking, make the avocado crema by blending all the ingredients together in a bowl
To serve, warm tortillas in a pan for a minute or two to make them pliable
Place a few spoonfuls of cooked filling into each tortilla & top with 1-2 Tbsp. of avocado crema
