BEST TURKEY AND GREEN CHILE TACOS RECIPE - MADEINNEWMEXICO

Green chile gives these traditional tacos a spicy kick

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground turkey
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 small onion, diced
1 packet Desert Gardens Taco and Burrito Seasoning
3 oz. warm water
1/4 cup Santa Fe Ole Hatch Diced Green Chile
12 corn taco shells

to garnish tacos:
chopped iceberg lettuce
diced tomatoes
sour cream
El Ranchos De Los Garcias Salsa

Directions:

Cook onion in olive oil until softened, about 5 minutes
Combine Desert Gardens taco seasoning with water and let sit 3 minutes
Add turkey to the onion a cook on medium heat until cooked through
Add taco seasoning and green chiles and bring to a boil. Once boiling lower to a simmer and cook 5-10 minutes
Serve in taco shells and fill with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and salsa.
