Lavender Honey Roasted Chicken

Honey and balsamic give this roasted chicken savory and sweet notes

Ingredients:
5 lb. chicken pieces
2 Tsp. Frolicking Deer Culinary Lavender
1 Tbsp. dried thyme
1 Tbsp. dried rosemary
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Season chicken with salt and pepper, place on a baking sheet and bake 20 minutes
Combine lavender, spices, honey and vinegar in a small saucepan on medium heat
Bring just to a simmer, stir and set aside
After 20 minutes of roasting, baste every 5 minutes with honey balsamic mixture
Continue basting 15-20 minutes, until temp registers 165 and juices run clear
