Hatch Green Chile and Beer Baked Beans

1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
1/2 tsp. cumin
pinch cayenne
3/4 cup dark beer
1/2 cup Santa Fe Ole Hatch Green Chile
1 Tbsp. green Tabasco
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 cans navy beans, rinsed and drained
juice of 1/2 lime

In a 10-inch cast iron skillet sauté the onion and garlic in 2 Tbsp. of butter until soft
Add spices, beer, green chile, hot sauce and chicken broth
Stir to combine and simmer 5 minutes
Add beans and season with salt and pepper and cook another 5 minutes
Stir in juice of half a lime and 2 Tbsp. butter
Place the skillet in the oven and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees F
Serve with cilantro and sliced green onions
