Green Chile and Cornbread Waffles Recipe
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 cup Mexican blend cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Santa Fe Seasons Hatch Roasted Green Chile, drained
Combine all ingredients and green chile in a large bowl and while til combined.
Spoon batter into heated and oiled waffle maker, cook til golden brown.
Serve immediately with whipped butter and maple syrup.
