8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Santa Fe Ole Hatch Roasted Green Chile
2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped
1 cup Mexican cheese blend, shredded
salt and pepper to taste
1 package prepared pie crust
1 egg, lightly beaten
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, green chile, chicken and cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Roll out pie crust on a lightly floured surface and cut into 5 inch rounds.
Fill with chicken mixture, about 3 tablespoons and fold pastry in half. To seal, crimp the edges with a fork.
Brush with heated egg and bake at 425 about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
