The soaps are hand made in small batches using natural ingredients. Southwestern Soap's use premium butters, oils, traditional and contemporary Southwestern fragrances, herbs and flowers to make our exceptional and luxurious products. The cold processed soaps are rich and creamy, and very nourishing for your skin.
PURE VEGETABLE GLYCERIN SOAPS -- Glycerin soaps are traditionally very moisturizing and mild. Ours are exceptionally so! Glycerin is a humectant, which means that it draws moisture to it. Although it is this very property of glycerin that makes it so wonderful for your skin, a bar left open to the air in a steamy bathroom will collect drops of moisture. Our low-sweat formula reduces the stickiness of the soap, while maintaining its rich, moisturizing skin feel.

Bill and Sue Cotton are the soapmakers behind Southwestern Soapworks. Bill and Sue moved to the Angel Fire/Eagle Nest area in 2005 from Scottsdale, Arizona. Having visited the area for many years, they enjoyed the high altitude and decided that they had to move here permanently. Bill and Sue are both stained glass artists but became interested in making soap after moving to Angel Fire. With the decision to purchase Southwestern Soapworks, Bill and Sue made the transition from stained glass to soapmaking. They are always busy in their studio in the Sangre de Cristo mountains overlooking Eagle Nest Lake and the Angel Fire Ski area. Their quality products are sold in national parks and souvenir gift shops across the United States as well as France, Germany and Australia.

Dreamcatcher soap obsession
Years ago when visiting Santa Fe, I went to the American Indian Museum and while there purchased several bars of Southwestern Soapworks soap. I loved it and my favorite one was Dreamcatcher. When I ran out about two years ago I looked high and low on the Internet and couldn't find it and then COVID happened and I gave up. I ordered 12 bars from Made in New Mexico a week ago and got them right away. So happy--best stuff ever.
love the soap it smells great. it was fast shipping but the shipping cost was too high probably won't order again. wish they sold the soap around here.
I loved them so much

Best Piñon Pine soap hands down
Accept no substitutes. This is the real deal. Fragrance of the piñon pine like no other. I know...I’ve tried. Nothing holds the power of pine like this brand. Love it!
